The Magic is Real: Mistletoe Mail Launches October 1st!
Hello, dear readers!
I’m practically bouncing in my chair as I write this because I finally get to share something I’ve been keeping secret for months. My first Christmas romance, Mistletoe Mail, releases October 1st and will be available in Kindle Unlimited from day one!
Cover Reveal!

Isn’t it absolutely perfect? It captures everything I love about this story—the cozy small-town charm, the promise of Christmas magic, and that feeling of coming home to where you truly belong.
What’s Mistletoe Mail About?
Cynical investigative journalist Tessa Moreno arrives in picture-perfect Mistletoe Ridge, Vermont, with one mission: expose the financial irregularities in their beloved Christmas charity program. Armed with her notebook and a lifetime of reasons not to trust small-town “magic,” she’s prepared to write the exposé that will finally earn her the promotion she’s worked three years to achieve.
What she doesn’t expect is Caleb Mitchell—the quietly competent former Army medic who runs the Mistletoe Mail program with the kind of protective dedication that makes her forget why she came to town in the first place. Or Mae, the wise post office manager who mothers everyone in sight. Or Jo, the baker who feeds half the town and asks pointed questions about matters of the heart.
As Tessa spends a week documenting how the program really works, she discovers something that challenges every cynical assumption she’s carried: sometimes community kindness is exactly what it appears to be. Sometimes the magic is real. And sometimes the story you’re meant to write isn’t the one you came to find.
But when her editor sends a photographer to get the exposé she can’t bring herself to deliver, Tessa must choose between the career she’s built and the love she never expected to find. In a town where Christmas means taking care of your neighbors, can a woman who’s made her living tearing things down learn to build something beautiful instead?
Why I Wrote This Story
After writing about chefs and restaurants in my Kitchen Battlefield series, I wanted to explore a different kind of community—the kind where people show up for each other not because it’s their job, but because it’s who they choose to be. Mistletoe Ridge is the town we all secretly hope exists somewhere, where the postmaster knows everyone’s story and the local baker feeds your soul along with your stomach.
But more than that, I wanted to write about second chances—the kind that require genuine accountability, real growth, and the courage to face the people you’ve wronged. Tessa’s journey from cynical journalist to community advocate isn’t just about falling in love with Caleb (though their romance will absolutely make you swoon). It’s about learning that sometimes the most radical thing you can do is trust, hope, and choose love over fear.
What Readers Are Saying
“Georgia Maple has created something truly special in Mistletoe Ridge. This isn’t just a Christmas romance—it’s a love letter to authentic community and the transformative power of belonging somewhere that matters.”
“Tessa and Caleb’s relationship develops with such genuine emotional depth. You feel every moment of their connection, every struggle with trust, every choice to be vulnerable. I’m already planning my annual reread for next December!”
Mark Your Calendars!
Mistletoe Mail releases October 1st and will be available in Kindle Unlimited from launch day. That means all my KU subscribers can dive into the Christmas magic at no extra cost—my gift to you as we head into the holiday season!
I can’t wait for you to fall in love with Mistletoe Ridge the way I did while writing this story. There’s something magical about a place where the biggest drama comes from deciding who gets the last cookie at the community meeting, and where love grows quietly in the space between helping your neighbors and finding your home.
Until next time, remember: life is short, love is real, and sometimes the best stories are the ones that remind us Christmas magic isn’t about perfect moments—it’s about imperfect people choosing to care for each other anyway.
With love and gratitude, Georgia
